Traditional nappies are made from oil-derived plastic, and given that the average baby creates about half a ton of dirty nappies a year, that’s a lot of plastic being thrown into landfill. In contrast, Naty’s nappies use biodegradable natural and renewable materials.
Naty has always worked closely with The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, ensuring that their business as well as their raw material suppliers have been independently tested and successfully complied with a number of strict conditions regarding the environmental impact of their products.
The wood used for pulp is derived from sustainable forestry; where more trees are planted than felled. They do not use chemicals during production, and their production, distribution, and packaging focuses on reducing waste and use of fuel.
