Reversible Dungarees – £30

These reversible dungarees are great for keeping little ones warm and snug this winter. Made from 100% organic cotton with a sweet snowy town print on one side and a polka dot print on the other, they have poppers on the shoulder and the inside leg for easier changing, plus the durability of the fabric and design means it will last long enough to be handed down to subsequent children or friends.

Frugi is based in the UK, and all of their products are made using organic cotton that has been certified by organisations that also require manufacturers to work in a safe environment with guaranteed minimum wages and no child labour. They ship internationally.

Fairly Traded

Fairly traded-(large)GOTS and the Soil Association both require that manufacturers also meet a minimum set of social as well as environmental criteria, but Frugi also make sure that all of the factories used in their supply chain have the SA8000 certification (which means that they are an Ethically Correct Certified Company). This certification goes further than the requirements for GOTS and Soil Association certification, meaning that they can be sure that the basic human rights of workers as laid out by UN are protected – they don’t use child labour, all workers have rights, work in safe environment, and are guaranteed minimum wages. On top of this, manufacturers must commit to supplying all workers and their families with health insurance.
